Critical Parts Manufacturing

Waterjet Service's commitment to quality begins with the in-house manufacturing of the high-pressure proprietary components used in our waterjet cutting systems.  This on-site production, performed by skilled machinists, ensures that all of our system-critical components meet the same stringent standards time and time again.  Our hands-on control of parts manufacturing also results in lower costs, shorter lead times and the reduction of material losses that can result from third party contracting.  This combination of benefits translates into the highest quality products at the best value for you, our customer.

Unit Assembly

The assembly of each pump is a matter of personal pride to our skilled technicians.  We hand assemble each pump, from initial frame preparation to final intensifier assembly.  Assigned technicians who begin preparation work on the frame of a unit will stay with that unit until the last intensifier bolt is secured.  If an obstacle is encountered during this process, time is taken to address it correctly.  Our technicians even take it upon themselves to visually recheck and clean system-critical parts at the point of assembly, where a small variance can be the difference between function and failure.  It is in this manner that our precision high-pressure components are combined with superior products such as Bosch hydraulic components and Allen-Bradley electrical controls, to become a complete system of uncompromising quality.

Final Product

Once assembled, the pumps are transferred to the testing department.  Here each pump is subjected to hours of intensive operating tests to determine functionality and performance.  Functionality is evaluated by using a battery of procedures covering everything from motor functions to intensifier system shutdowns.  Intensifier performance is measured by operating the unit pressures of up to 55,000 psi, utilizing several different sizes.  After these tests are completed and documented, the system is run at varying pressures for extended periods of time.  This stimulates pump usage in an array of applications.  At the end of this rigorous testing period, we feel confident that you are receiving the highest quality pump in the industry.

Service

Our commitment to quality does not end when we ship your waterjet system.  Our commitment to your satisfaction and our product will continue long after the initial sale.  If you are ever in need of technical support, one of our friendly staff members will immediately direct you to a qualified service technician.  Should you ever have additional service questions, you will speak with the same technician.  This assures that you receive the WSI quality of service; service provided by a technician who knows your cutting application, maintenance history, and more importantly, you.

Replacement Parts and Accessories

To assure the timely fulfillment of replacement part orders, WSI maintains an inventory of virtually all components used in our waterjet systems.  As a result, orders are shipped the same business day in which they are received.  We also inventory a wide variety of replacement parts for waterjet systems built by most other manufacturers.  In addition, WSI produces and maintains a complete line of accessory items.  Accessories include high-pressure tubing and fittings, on/off valves, swivels, manual cutting stations, and abrasive systems.  We also offer consulting services and an extensive OEM network of system integrators to provide you with a variety of cutting solutions.  Whether you are purchasing replacement parts or adding accessories to your system, Waterjet Services, Inc. can meet all of your waterjet cutting needs.
